VULTJARRK
First Nations-led. Australian-focused.

Turning waste
into opportunity.

Creating opportunities for everyone.

Vultjarrk is a First Nations-led Australian business developing innovative ways to recover value from waste. Beginning with a proposed regional waste timber-to-biochar facility, we're working towards renewable fuel production, environmental regeneration and stronger regional communities.

Waste is a resource
in the wrong place.

Founded on the principles of environmental stewardship, innovation and community development, Vultjarrk aims to demonstrate that successful industry can be commercially viable, environmentally responsible and socially beneficial.

Every year, valuable materials are discarded, buried or left unused. We believe many of these resources could be recovered and transformed into products that benefit our communities, industries and environment.

Our initial focus

Our initial focus is developing a waste timber processing facility in regional Queensland, using thermal conversion technology to recover useful resources, including biochar.

A longer-term ambition

In the longer term, our ambition is to expand into renewable fuel production, particularly fuels that everyday Australians and Australian industries can use. By transforming underutilised resources into valuable products, we hope to strengthen domestic fuel production, support regional economies and contribute to greater Australian fuel sovereignty.

02 / What drives us

Three principles.
One shared future.

Environmental stewardship, innovation and community development guide the business we are working to build.

01 / ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

Caring for Country.

Caring for Country is not simply about protecting what remains. It is about understanding our relationship with the environment and working towards restoring the natural systems that support us.

02 / INNOVATION

Practical engineering.

We bring together First Nations perspectives and modern engineering to develop practical solutions for resource recovery, renewable energy and environmental challenges. By rethinking how resources are used, we aim to create technologies and systems that benefit both industry and Country.

03 / COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Opportunity for everyone.

Through education, employment, innovation and partnerships, we hope to encourage more Australians to take an active role in caring for Country while building the industries and resources our nation needs.

03 / Building opportunities together

Stewardship is
everyone’s responsibility.

At Vultjarrk, our ambition extends beyond sustainability. We want to explore how industry and the environment can exist in a mutually beneficial relationship, where responsible resource use contributes to healthier landscapes, stronger communities and greater long-term resilience.

Achieving this vision will require collaboration.

As Vultjarrk develops, we hope to work alongside local businesses, schools, governments, industry and communities to share knowledge, encourage environmental responsibility and demonstrate the value of circular resource systems.

Our vision is to turn waste into opportunity, regenerate our environment and help build more resilient and self-reliant communities for Australia.
