Waste is a resource
in the wrong place.
Recovering value from waste timber in regional Queensland, with a longer-term ambition to develop renewable fuels for Australia.
Waste timber.
Useful resources.
Our initial focus is developing a waste timber processing facility in regional Queensland, using thermal conversion technology to recover useful resources, including biochar.
Every year, valuable materials are discarded, buried or left unused. We believe many of these resources could be recovered and transformed into products that benefit our communities, industries and environment.
Renewable fuels.
Australian ambition.
In the longer term, our ambition is to expand into renewable fuel production, particularly fuels that everyday Australians and Australian industries can use. By transforming underutilised resources into valuable products, we hope to strengthen domestic fuel production, support regional economies and contribute to greater Australian fuel sovereignty.
Renewable fuel production is a longer-term ambition, distinct from the initial waste timber facility.
Industry and nature.
Stronger together.
At Vultjarrk, our ambition extends beyond sustainability. We want to explore how industry and the environment can exist in a mutually beneficial relationship, where responsible resource use contributes to healthier landscapes, stronger communities and greater long-term resilience.
We believe First Nations perspectives and modern engineering can complement one another to develop practical solutions to contemporary challenges.
Our vision is to turn waste into opportunity, regenerate our environment and help build more resilient and self-reliant communities for Australia.
